CODE OF ETHICS and CODE OF CONDUCT 

CODE W is a small, family–run business based Leeming. We research, program, and supply personal alarm pendants and watches.

The personal alarms are used by clients that are seniors and clients that have disabilities and want to remain independent in their own home. In an emergency, they can press the Emergency button and the alarm calls their contacts for help.

 

CODE OF ETHICS 

 

We pride ourselves on our personal service and the care that we take of our clients. These values are reflected in our Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct.

CODE W prides itself on its professional service and high standards, so we have developed a Code of Ethics for our company.

Our main focus is 3 key points :

Professionalism

Competence

Honesty.

 

We expect all employees to follow our Code of Ethics and to uphold our company’s reputation.

Professionalism

CODE W prides itself on its Professionalism, both in the workplace and how we relate to clients. We expect employees to act professionally in the workplace and to be polite, informed, and knowledgeable. We also value Professionalism when relating to clients and would expect employees to be patient, kind, respectful, understanding, and knowledgeable.

CODE W expects employees to show professionalism by:

-Having  pride in the company and promoting it in the industry

-Protect the company’s reputation

-Act professionally by being calm, polite, respectful, as well as knowledgeable and informed

-Show respectful behaviours to clients by being calm, polite, respectful, kind, and patient

-Refrain from any action/ behaviours in your professional role that would tarnish the image of

    

Competence

CODE W expects employees to be informed and knowledgeable about our products. We ask you to accept only work that you feel competent to perform and ask if you need additional help or support. Be aware of your own knowledge and limitations and do not complete any tasks you are not competent to complete.

 

Honesty

CODE W values honesty and we strive to maintain the trust of our employees and clients. We have a reputation in the industry as being an honest and trustworthy company. We expect employees to maintain honesty at all times as our reputation is built on this.
